 SQS Uses:

This system can be used by Principals and Purchasers to assess, grade, qualify and regrade potential or short listed Suppliers on projects if deemed suitable for work packages.

The SQS manages the registration, grading and qualification of the following commodity types:

• Suppliers in the provision of Major engineered equipment, Corporate or Minor Goods
• Contractors in the provision of Contract Works
• Contractors in the provision of Supply and Install Contracts
• Consultants in the supply of Professional or Engineering Services

• It is designed to manage the qualification of potential, new and existing suppliers.
• It is designed to reduce the time taken by them to evaluate tenders by enabling an earlier assessment of supply data at a separate qualification phase.
• The SQS groups supply data into specific categories to assist in the Purchasers assessment and decision making process.
• It is designed to cater for small, large or multiple projects managed by the Purchaser from multiple locations.
• It allows for the easy retrieval of valuable supplier data which assists the Purchaser to make commercial astute buying decisions.
• It assists the Purchaser in sourcing Goods and Services in the open market and comparing Tenderers/Suppliers lists.
• It allows for project specific commodity lists (Goods and Services) to be populated by the Purchaser within the SQS Supply Manager.
• It maintains a grading (or regrading) for each qualified Supplier based on their performance.
• The core SQS modules (Application and Supply Manager modules) can accommodate the Purchasers company details and forms specific to their project.
